The Redeemed Christian Church of God, and by extension its Directorate of Teens & Children Education (DTCE), holds firmly to the Holy Scriptures as the complete, inspired, and final authority for all doctrine, faith, and Christian living.
These beliefs are not traditions inherited from men — they are revealed truths from God, unchanging, eternal, and sufficient for every generation. Every child we teach, every teacher we train, and every programme we run is grounded in these convictions.

We believe that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost are one God — but manifested in three distinct Persons. They share the same power, the same glory, and the same eternal nature.
Just as an egg is one — yet comprised of the yolk, the white, and the shell — so the Godhead is one in essence while existing in three Persons. Three, yet absolutely One.
"The egg is comprised of three parts: the yellow yolk, the whitish part, and the shell. Despite these three substances, the egg is not three but one. Likewise, God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are one God — made of three persons. ONE IN TRINITY."
The biblical ordinances and communal practices that shape life in the RCCG family — from baptism to holy matrimony.
We believe in immersion baptism in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Every saved soul is automatically qualified. Baptism is an outward sign of true repentance and a joining with Christ in death, burial, and resurrection.
All born-again souls should seek the fullness of the Holy Spirit from above — the promise of the Father. Any Christian who receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit must speak in tongues. This is God's gift to those who obey Him.
We believe in anointing the sick on the head in the Name of the Lord — the prayer of faith shall save. We do not use unbiblical methods: no sanctified water, no special washing, no candles, no crosses or sticks. We heal free of charge.
Marriage is honourable in all. One husband, one wife — monogamy is God's order since the beginning. Divorce is permissible only in cases of adultery. Members who marry should do so in the church, without worldly excess, drunkenness, or immodest dress.
After a child is born, on the 8th day, parents should bring him or her to the House of the Lord for dedication. This act consecrates the child to God from the very beginning of life — the foundation of a godly generation.
We believe that Sunday — the first day of the week — is the Lord's Day. It is a special day which believers should set apart for worship. The Lord resurrected on the first day of the week. Believers gather every Sunday to worship, take communion, and grow in the Word.
We believe in all the prophecies of the Bible and that the gift of prophecy may be given by the Holy Spirit. However, any prophecy that contradicts Scripture is rejected. Despise not prophesying — but test all things.
Whatever is not Bible teaching should be rejected. A member disobeying teachings may first be disciplined privately. If they refuse correction, discipline is applied publicly — that others may fear and the church may remain holy and pure.
The dedicated Christian avoids foolish talking, immodest dress, dancing halls, and all appearance of evil. Members should obey the law of the land, honour parents and authority, avoid swearing, and separate themselves from the world's spirit while living in it.
RCCG holds to a clear, scripture-rooted vision of the end of history — the return of Christ, the resurrection, the judgement, and eternity.
Christ's return will be physical and visible — as He was seen ascending into heaven, so shall He return. In the first stage, the saints (the Bride of Christ) will be raptured to meet Him in the sky.
Between Christ's coming to receive the saints and His coming to judge will be a period of great tribulation on the earth — a time of unprecedented suffering for those left behind.
Immediately believers are caught up, they stand before Christ for the Judgement of Believers. After this judgment, they descend with Christ to the earth. Each will receive according to their works.
Christ returns to earth to judge the sinners and the ungodly. He will come with His saints, and all the nations shall see Him. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess.
Christ will set up His Kingdom with the holy people for one thousand years. It will be a kingdom of perfect peace — no death, no poverty, no war. Satan will be chained. Christ will be the only King.
After the millennium, the Judgement of Unbelievers occurs at the Great White Throne. Books are opened, including the Lamb's Book of Life. Those not found in the Book face the second death.
After judgment, this wicked world will be removed. God will create a new Heaven and a new Earth in which holiness will exist forever. The righteous enter eternal life; the wicked enter eternal punishment in the lake of fire.
